I am also currently training in the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) which focuses on challenging childhood experiences. This approach focuses on building connection with yourself and others, re-establishing a sense of trust, and builds upon your own innate strengths to work through past trauma.
My approach is unique to each individual that I work with, as I truly believe that you are the best guide in the therapeutic process.
Whether it is looking to the past for understanding, finding ways to connect to the present, or cultivating hope for the future, I strive to create a warm and supportive space for clients to reflect and connect.
The people I see are often working through depression, anxiety, perfectionism, shame, and early childhood trauma. I am a strong ally for the LGBTQIA+ community and neurodivergent friendly.
In sessions, I incorporate aspects of a few therapeutic modalities;
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Emotion-Focused Therapy
Somatic and Mindfulness based approaches
This combination focuses on mind-body connection, embracing emotions, looking at our connection to the world, and identifying our values to move forward.
